The essay and elocution contest as a webinar mode will be organized as a part of BPMME-2020 by receiving essays on the following topics:

1.  Isotope based power sources for space applications

2. Recovery of rare earths for self-sufficiency

3. Green Initiatives for Metals Industries

A maximum of three entries may be forwarded by each IIM chapter from schools in their region for the essay submission. The essays along with filled-in registration form having the details of student participants should be forwarded only by the respective chapters by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. on or before 8 Nov. 2020. The essays will not be accepted without the registration form and will not be entertained after the above mentioned date.

Notes for Essays

· Maximum of 2000 words; Font - Times New Roman; Title in 18 pt, sub-title in 14 pts, text in 12 pt;

· The above instructions must strictly be followed to avoid disqualification

· Essays will be assessed, among other criteria, for originality, comprehensiveness of coverage of topic and novel ideas presented

A total of EIGHT best essays selected by a panel of jury will be invited for the elocution contest in webinar mode during 3rd or 4th week of November 2020


Three best elocution will be selected and awarded cash prizes
