Human Resources Development Centre - Kalpakkam-Chennai (HRDC-KC)
The IIM HRDC-KC was started in 2007 with the objective of serving as a bridge between IIM and industry. The HRDC-KC attempts to develop human resources in industry through various training programmes, consultancy activities, web portals and books, and thereby facilitate career advancement in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and allied fields. The HRDC-KC also aims to bring together students, and promote greater interaction between different chapters of IIM in the southern region.
The recent activities of the IIM HRDC-KC include the Course on Artificial Intellingence in Materials Engineering (AIME 2024).
